Godzilla Vs Kong Trailer Review!!!

This classic match up has finally arrived at the big screen once again! The first match up took place in back in 1962, now that technology has transformed in cinema, this classic battle will be exciting to see in digital format. From the trailer it appears that the humans have successfully captured Kong, following the last encounter with the giant ape 29 years after WW2. Godzilla was last seen assisting Earth’s forces against ancient monsters, but this time, we can see Godzilla attacking his allies and Kong is there to stop him. What side are you on when this battle begins? Godzilla vs Kong will release on March 26, 2021, in theatres and stream on HBOMax.

Lord Beerus

Dragonball Z is now Dragonball Super, an era where Earth defenders are battling among gods. Lord Beerus, God of Destruction is the new villain whose purpose is to destroy planets, thus bringing balance in the cosmos. Lord Beerus resembles the appearance of the Egyptian God Set, with destructive power like Sekhmet. The only thing that seems to distract Beerus from his destructive quest is the taste of unique foods. Because of this, Earth is spared as long as Beerus appetite is satisfied.

Even though Lord Beerus is classified a villain because of his destructive nature, he is responsible for making Goku and Vegeta aware of the saiyan God. Although Beerus is a god, he has a martial arts master named Whis, who is responsible for training Beerus and the saiyans to use their god forms. The saiyans trained immensely to master their new powers but still fall short of Beerus’ might individually. Broly and Omega Shenron are two powerful villains that Earth defenders had to face. Omega Shenron is the negative force of Shenron, created from the overuse of the dragonballs. Broly is a saiyan born with abnormal energy reserves that continues to grow rapidly during combat without ever fatiguing. Since both super villains have an overwhelming sense for destruction and with proper training, could Broly or Omega Shenron take on the role as God of Destruction?

Superman Vs Goku

There are many forums and portraits conveying the huge debate on who would win in a battle between Goku and Superman. There is good reason to match these characters up because of their similarities and huge differences, differences that already determines the winner. Both characters arrive on Earth as babies, survivors of an extinct race, have powers that rival their companions and considered great leaders, to all heroes and Earth citizens alike.

Superman is a kryptonian, whose powers can only manifest in the presence of a yellow sun. Super speed, flight, x-ray and heat vision to name a few. On Krypton, superpowers cannot manifest because of the red sun which the planet orbits, leaving the Kryptonian race as normal beings. Superman spent most of his younger years living and molding to human way of life while adjusting to his Kryptonian powers. Superman later learned combat training from when he decided to become a hero for Earth. Over the years, Superman’s powers have developed greatly, for instance, leaping tall building in a single bound to flying around the sun at close proximity without being harmed.

Goku a martial artist who has trained his whole life in the arts. This gives him the advantage of an organized fighting style, a style he constantly and consistently trains to stay an excellent fighter. Training in the arts allowed Goku to learn Ki manipulation, an ability which grants the user flight, super speed, and destructive energy attacks strong enough to destroy planets and solar systems. With the heritage of the saiyans, Goku can transform his physiology into a stronger and faster forms. His latest form is Ultra Instinct, a form that can’t be accessed easily, only in the threat of immediate danger with no defense….

Goku’s fight experience and constant training would ultimately bring this battle to his advantage each time. Since both characters are heroes and leaders of super teams, Goku and Superman wouldn’t present much of a battle, but more of a test among each other. What if…. Goku trained Superman inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, teaching him to discover and control his Ki? This would be an addition to his Kryptonian powers. Just imagine what Superman could learn from Goku….

Based upon what we have seen in their TV series, who do you think will be the victor in such a battle?

Broly

Saiyans are known as the warrior race with an appetite for battle and power. Broly is the deadliest and most powerful saiyan known to history and is also known as the Legendary Super Saiyan. Broly’s power level was so enormous at birth, it put fear in King Vegeta. Broly’s power level matched the King’s, and it was predicted Broly will eventually surpass the royal bloodline. King Vegeta ordered Broly to be killed. Even though the attempt was fatal, Broly survived. As a result, Broly’s power doubled and at that point in time, he the strongest saiyan alive. The increase in power allowed infant Broly to shield himself and his father from the explosion of Planet Vegeta. Broly grew to become an uncontrolled superpower capable of destroying planets, solar systems and galaxies, all to feed his desire for destruction.

Lower class saiyan babies are jettisoned into the universe, to selected planets to be conquered. It seems odd to DBZ fans on why Broly was created with a subconscious annoyance with Goku, simply because of his constant crying as an infant. This hatred for Goku remained with Broly into adulthood which is also confusing to readers to how Broly would recognize Goku in adult form. Goku was destined to purge life on Earth and Broly set to be executed. Through many unforeseen circumstances, their destinies changed, Broly turned out to be the destroyer of the universe while Goku became the protector. In all respects, Broly and Goku is the representation of the light and darkness of the saiyan race.

Comic fans often wonder how Broly would fair against the Z fighters’ most difficult opponents: Kid Buu and Omega Shenron. In the DBZ anime, all the Z fighters including Goku eventually tires out in battle. Replenishment of power comes from available senzu beans or borrowed energy; tactics Broly doesn’t need since he wields the legendary form. Broly’s power would increase dramatically during the intense battle and it’s even possible that in either battle, Broly could jump through the different levels of super saiyan. Kid Buu would need to absorb Omega Shenron to gain an advantage on Broly. Comic fans even discussed fantasy crossover battles between Broly, Superman and the Hulk. Superman and the Hulk have a lack of knowledge on ki manipulation, so how would they able to withstand Broly’s sheer force? Since Broly appeared to be defeated prematurely in the animated movies, DBZ fans refuse to let the idea of Broly die. Broly’s life is extended in the DBZ universe through video game storylines. Will we get a new set of movies welcoming the return of Broly?!

Venom

Venom is apart of an alien race of symbiotes, when bonded with a host, becomes a powerful warrior taking on the personality and physical attributes of its host. What makes these symbiotes seem villainous is when they bond with a host, the symbiote would feed off the chemicals released from the host’s body, chemicals which are released when emotions like anger is triggered. Adrenaline is the chemical symbiotes primarily feed on. If the adrenaline isn’t released in a desired amount for consumption, the symbiote would find another host or dominate the mind and body of its current host(which is usually a superhuman) causing them to engage in extreme activities that would increase the adrenaline levels, eventually leaving the host depleted. Only way to rid oneself of these parasitic symbiotes is by high pitch sound waves or intense flame.

Spiderman was a perfect bond for the symbiote because as a hero with superpowers, daily crime fighting keeps his adrenaline levels at a high rate and for extended periods of time. Since Spiderman was Venom’s first host, every host after was able to have the powers of Spiderman. Venom became a nemesis to Spiderman after bonding with its next host Eddie Brock. Eddie had a deep hatred toward Spiderman, a hatred in which the symbiote fed on and acted upon as its own.

The Venom symbiote also has the ability to reproduce. Its offspring bonded with a serial killer becoming the villainous Carnage. Carnage in turn had an offspring called Toxin, which Carnage despised because it believed Toxin would be more powerful than itself and Venom. Eddie Brock eventually rid himself of the Venom symbiote, but small remnants of the symbiote bonded with Brock’s white blood cells creating the symbiote Anti-Venom. The Anti-Venom symbiote does not dominate its host like other symbiotes but does become active and protects its host when Venom or other symbiotes are present. The Anti-Venom symbiote operates like the white bloods in the human body which help defend and cure the body of viruses and infections.

Venom was featured in the live action film Spiderman 3, much to the disapproval of comic fans. Most comic fans expected a bulky powerful Venom as seen in cartoon and comic book, but instead received a smaller grade Venom who wasn’t as threatening as comic fans were raised to believe. The Spiderman franchise was rebooted in 2012 with better graphics and story line. Will Venom also get a recreated look? A look that comic fans would love and recognize as the true Venom?….

Comic/Reality Crossover

Powers and abilities of heroes and villains has evolved to greater heights since their origins. This happens through time, when new writers bring fresh ideas to character development. Crossover topics became popular among comic fans, making readers wonder which character would rank at the top of his or her class. Live action crossover films or animations like Michael Habjan’s Superman vs Hulk are exciting short films comic fans would love to see all the time. This could be the reason Marvel has announced they will release the What If….TV series, further satisfying comic fans need for the many possibilities a story could have. Comic fans have speculated and debated on who the strongest heroes are and the most destructive villains throughout all the comic book universes. What creates these crossover scenarios is the focus on the powers and abilities of the characters and then how their strengths and weaknesses compare to each other. Comic crossovers has been created through many publications such as the Crossover Classics, Spawn vs Batman , SpiderMan and Batman and the Amalgam Age of Comics.

Let’s think about our own reality. The characters we know are all ideas from creative writers. With so much history of these unique characters, comics fans and even the creators fantasized on if supernatural powers could be real. But think, do humans have the hidden potential that has yet to be discovered? Stephen Hawking Universe gives us a perspective on our place in the universe and the awareness that infinite worlds exist in cosmos. The idea that the solar system is a huge model of how an atom functions, creates the belief that the solar systems of the universe could be the atoms to a greater being….

Astronomers have sent out radio signals throughout our space exploration history, in search of intelligence. This was the inspiration for films such as Contact. Scientific studies have shown that the brain is a transmitter and receiver of vibrational frequencies like a radio, but much more powerful than any on our planet. Now think for a moment, what if the ideas of comic writers are in fact mental transmissions from other worlds in the universe that contains such characters and cosmic beings?

Let’s look sci-fi films. Do you believe there are movies that hint some truths about the universe and our hidden potentials? In the film The LawnMower Man, the character Jobe explains that the unnaturally phenomenon such as telekinesis, isn’t new but a dormant natural function of man.

Humans are known to use approximately 10%-15% brain power. What will happen if we could use 100% in our daily lives, pushing the brain’s alpha waves to the maximum? Will we then become our original design? The human body has evolved and still evolving through each generation. Take this news clip of a boy who can see in the dark.

Haven’t we seen this before with Riddick? When you ask most people on Earth who created humans, they would answer by saying God. Is that the truth, or is that a myth told throughout time to hide who really designed our biological machines we call the human body?

Is it human evolution or self-realization? Do we have the dormant genetic codes that could produce feats of power some would consider unnatural like the world of the X-Men, or even portrayed in the popular TV Series Heroes? What are the true limits of our humanity?

Has human’ true potential been mentally locked away through the years of developing social structure such as religion, governments, and rationalization? What if the Matrix trilogy is explaining how to break such mental control on how we view our reality, from a worldly to universal standpoint? Just imagine if everyone on Earth could use 100% of their mental and physical potential. Immortality could be very possible, and the world order would never be the same. Instead of waging war over resources and power, we must come to realize that we are one race of beings among billions of life forms, intelligent and unintelligent throughout the universe. How are we to protect ourselves against natural or unnatural universal catastrophes when we are busy dominating each other? For example, movies such as Knowing and 2012 display natural occurrences that happen throughout the cosmos on planetary systems. This natural occurrence would be described as the planet cleansing itself. Or movies such as Independence Day and Battleship which display intelligent life forms in the universe that may or may not come to Earth in peace. What real defense do we have against forces like these?

Comics books is another avenue that fills the void of such possibilities. Heroes are created with special gifts, natural or artificial that help defend against forces outside of human comprehension, till the day we learn to free our minds….

Vegeta

Prince Vegeta proudly flaunted the ruthlessness of his race. Under Frieza‘s rule, Vegeta destroyed many planets and killed millions of innocence without mercy. Like most villains, Vegeta has failed at many of his self-serving goals which severed his potential to become greater. Throughout the years, Vegeta has grown stronger in power and slowing letting go of his harsh ways. Eventually settling down and raising a family, Vegeta learned the righteous morals in life. Finally ending his rivalry with Goku, Vegeta has also been able to keep up with him in the god levels of the saiyan. With this new power, Vegeta was able to bring his former master Frieza to his knees in defeat…

Vegeta developed his arrogant attitude from his place in royalty. Believing only the royal bloodline holds the key to greatest power ( saiyan of legend), Vegeta looked down upon lower class saiyan warriors like Goku. Even the low-class may have great strength potential to become as great or greater than royalty. If the Saiyans weren’t divided into social classes, then maybe that race would still exist….

Some fans believe Vegeta’s true potential was with his mastery of the Oozaru stage. Vegeta grew up believing a saiyan could only become super in the Oozaru stage. If this was so, Vegeta would have reached the level of Super Saiyan long ago, if his tail regenerated from his battle on Earth. Since Vegeta lost his tail, he had to learn how to acquire the super saiyan stage in humanoid form. There were many battles Vegeta could have used his great ape form. Instead of using the Final Flash on Cell as a desperate need to win, what if Vegeta transforms into a golden great ape?!

Vegeta was not featured in Dragonball Evolution, to the relief of many fans. Since Vegeta is a master of the Oozaru form, it only stands to reason that correct visuals would have been needed to capture Vegeta in his transformation stage. Is Dragonball Z too complex to become a movie? Should Dragonball Z become a live action movie or a complete CGI movie like Avatar, Final Fantasy or even Beowulf?

Wonder Woman 1984 Movie Review!!!!

Wonder Woman 1984 released Christmas of 2020 in theatres and streamed on HBOMax. WW84 had multiple release delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic, causing the film to generate $154.6 million, below the budget of $200 million. WW84 takes place in 1984, where Diana works in an antique museum as we see her in Justice League but in 1984 she is stationed in Washington D.C. The Dream Stone makes its way to the museum, creating chaos that Wonder Woman must bring to order. What type of power do you think the Infinity Gauntlet would have if the Dream Stone was apart of the stone settings?

While in presence of the Dream Stone, Diana inadvertently wished to be with Steve Trevor again. His spirit returned, embodied inside another man. Despite this, Diana could recognize Steve as if he were in his original form. During their reunion, Diana made a successful attempt to shield a stolen fighter jet from radar, an art she learned from her father. With this cinematic perspective, comic fans understand that Wonder Woman could render any object invisible, instead of the belief Amazons had the technology to create invisible warcrafts. Diana’s inadvertent wish came with the negative effect of taking away her powers. After renouncing her wish, she gained back her powers, thus losing Trevor indefinitely. Flight became a new addition during Diana’s power restoration, a feat she had yet to display on film.

Until this film, we’ve seen Diana’s areal feat as extended leaps, similar to The Hulk in various films or Faroa in Man of Steel. In WW84 we also see Diana use the Lasso of Truth as a grappling hook to jettison into the air or stream along lightning currents in the higher altitudes. Does Diana gain a new level of power each time she is restored from depletion? Can we get a crossover cinematic visual of Wonder Woman traveling to Asgard to offer an alliance with Themiscyra, merging Greek and Norse Mythology? What about Diana’s attempt to wield Mjölnir? With her warrior’s might and Asteria’s armor , do you think Diana could lead the Valkyrie?

Pedro Pascal, actor as the Mandalorian, plays Max Lord in WW84. His life is filled with ambition with minimal success in business and personal life. This causes disorder when he wished to be the Dream Stone in the flesh. Max Lord’s character seemed focused on the fundamentals of the Law of Attraction and how greed among humans have devastating consequences on many levels. Was the power of wishes and dreams the theme of the movie? Is there a negative effect when we have positive dreams for ourselves?

WW84 presented Diana’s next foe, the feline humanoid Cheetah. Barbara gained her animalistic powers from the Dream Stone, after replacing her first wish of wanting to be like Diana. This is different from the comic blueprint where Barbara gained her powers from Urzkartaga. Its assumed that Barbara renounced her wish, but did she? It appears that Max Lord renounced his wish of being the Dream Stone before Barbara could renounce her wish. Because of this, is it possible her powers remained but can only return at night like Werewolf by Night? Will there be another film to bridge the time of 1984 to 2016 when the Trinity battled Doomsday? What were your thoughts on this film? Leave your comments below and check out SlideShow Collectibles for WW84 memorabilia!!!

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

MOVIE REVIEW!!!!

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is an excellent movie among many superhero films! This is the first time that these two characters have met live on film. Critics slammed this movie so much it made comic fans even more intrigued to see it. The weekend total sales for this movie were 424.1 million dollars which shows that movie critics cannot figure out the outcome for such a film. This movie was a mixture of the Frank Miller story of Batman v Superman, Superman: Doomsday, and Justice League War.

The total sales for the film is $873.6 million million dollars.

Likes:  Comic fans were not sure if Ben Affleck could pull of this role because of his previous role as Daredevil, who is among the Marvel Universe. This Batman was very brutal compared what we’ve seen on screen before. This Batman made use of guns and didn’t killing off goons trying to kill him. Since Man of Steel, Clark Kent has become an investigative reporter for the Daily Planet. He takes notice of news reports in Gotham City, of a vigilante spreading fear and chaos throughout the underworld. As for Superman, Clark sees how the world is having a divided opinion about him. In the Man of Steel, Jor-El lets Superman know he is unique and with his powers, he must lead the human race to become better through his example. Clark’s Earth father Jonathan Kent advised Clark the world wasn’t ready for him. No matter how much good Superman does for the planet, some people feel that his presence is making the natural order of the world become disrupted. These lessons are what Clark had to face as Superman in this film…

batman vs superman1

The best part of the film is the showdown between the two heroes. What’s interesting about this showdown is that Batman viewed Superman as a threat because of the destruction in Metropolis. Before Superman, humans thought they were alone in the universe. Now an alien from space is now the savior of the planet?? Batman had a vision of a possible future Earth, where Superman decided to use his power for control. Superman viewed Batman as a criminal, and working outside the law goes against what Superman stands for. In the end, Superman can easily destroy Batman with brute force. Batman, on the other hand could outwit Superman and defeat him. So, the conclusion is that both characters realized they are better together than against each other. That’s what heroes do!

Dislikes:

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor!!!! This is the most common dislike among most comic fans. If anything, Jesse could play a perfect Riddler. That’s only if The Riddler is featured in any future Batman movies. This is the ONLY dislike Comic Multiverse has rated for this film.

bammm

Marvel comics has the “one up” on DC Comics with their costume design. Black Panther and Spiderman of Captain America: Civil War, have eye covers for their masks. Batman did have that feature but only for his armored suit. In this film, we couldn’t see Batman’s vision behind the armored helmet. Its possibly that the appearance of his vision would be similar to Iron Man’s helmet in the MCU. But if Batman’s regular costume was equipped like Black Panther’s, we could see Batman switch through his different visions as shown in most animated films or video games such as Arkham Knight.

This deleted scene has comic fans speculating. Lex is seen in communion with Steppenwolf. Is it possible that Lex summoned Darkseid to Earth?

batman vs superman review

In the comics when Superman return from his death, he was outfitted in a black and silver version of his costume. In the Man of Steel, when Zod was explaining to Clark of his intentions for the Codex, you can see Superman wearing his all black Kryptonian attire. Superman is rumored to return in the Justice League film in his black attire. Some speculate how he may acquire this version. It’s very possible that more suits are aboard the Genesis Chamber Ship, which is still in Metropolis. At the end of Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller is giving Bruce Wayne files on metahumans. Is it possible that Bruce will also get access to the ship like Lex did? With this possibility, Bruce could learn of the ship’s technology to improve his own as Batman. He could then learn to repair it for flight to make it as a base for the Justice League. Of course, this would create the tension between Bruce and Amanda because it would be theft of government property. Most importantly the ship’s computer would have the knowledge on Kryptonian biology to let Bruce know how to heal Superman. How do you think Superman will return?

Enterprise Space Armor

What if… Tony Stark’s technology crossed into the Star Trek Universe?! The advanced technology of Star Trek would be wonders for Tony Stark. He could develop his armors even further equipping them with stellar navigation or even combine Star Fleet’s warp core technology with his arc reactor tech. With this, the Stark armor could survive deep space and even achieve warp speeds. This would allow Iron Man to travel alongside the likes of Silver Surfer or Green Lantern with ease.Tony Stark could supply the Federation with the blueprint plans for advanced armored suits. The Federation could use Tony’s armors for planetary exploration or a non-detectable advantage over enemies in war. Would you agree that if such armored suits were created for the Federation, the space jump in the 2009– and 2013-Star Trek films be much cooler? Let’s imagine…

Not only could Tony Stark use the Star Fleet’s technology for his armored suits, but he could also enhance S.H.I.E.L.D. For example, The Helicarrier  could be equipped much like the USS Enterprise. The Helicarrier could run on anti-matter propulsion engines, equipped with transporters on board, deflector shields and advanced weaponry. Both universes could benefit each other greatly with Tony Stark’s brilliance. Could you imagine such technology crossed over between the two universes, how they can go hand in hand with one another?
